Memory of Russia: “Siberia in the Patriotic War of 1812” issued in Omsk

Publication of the unique edition of the Historical Archive of the Omsk region “Siberia in the Patriotic War of 1812” is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812.

The publication includes scientific works of specialists of the State Archive of the Omsk region, handbook articles on Siberians - members of the Patriotic War of 1812, an article, devoted to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the war with Napoleon in Omsk. The work is provided with illustrations. The collection includes photocopies of several documents of the Historical Archive of the Omsk region from the fund of Siberian governor-general, lithographs, and paintings from the printed editions.

At the Center of the study of the history of the civil war was also opened an eponymous exhibition, which presented the rare original documents, dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812. Visitors of the exhibition are revealed previously unknown facts about the heroes of the Patriotic, who tied their fate with Siberia.
