Information technology and society: Unique solution “Navigation of the future” presented on Seliger

July 2, the team of Vitaliy Ponomarev presented at the All-Russian Youth forum “Seliger-2012” a unique system of Wayray, which has no analogues.

The original navigation system projects the route of a movement as a holographic image on all car windshields. Wayray receives the geographic data from GLONASS and GPS. When you stop the car you are available additional features of the system, such as the entrance to the social network, information about nearby houses and enterprises in the form of pop-ups and much more.

As the project developers say, Wayray can be used both in personal and public transportation. In the future, the unit will complement with the in-car camera system for fixing the emotional background of the driver, also in the process of the movement through the steering wheel will be measured electrocardiogram and blood pressure. The obtained information will be used to prevent accidents; it will allow monitoring the health status, as well as playing music that is appropriate for each driver individually. It is planned to create special versions of the device for river and sea transport, as well as special software for operational services.
