Exhibitions: “Historical Photographs of Mexican Revolution” to be shown in Vladivostok

July, 3 the exhibition “Historical Photographs of Mexican Revolution” opened in the Far Eastern State Academy of Arts in Vladivostok. The photo exhibition is held in the framework of the festival “Days of Latin America”. It presents 28 photographs made by the family Kasasola in 1900-1970.

In 1976 the archive of Kasasola was acquired by the Government of Mexico and is currently receiving the name of the National Photography Center, and it is the property of the National Institute of Anthropology and History of the country.

“It not only depicts the revolution, but also an everyday life, women, children, men - told about the exhibition the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Mexico in Russia Enoch Dulce de Santiago. - I am very glad that the activities of Days of Latin American begin with the exhibition “Historical Photographs of the Mexican Revolution”.

The festival “Days of Latin America”, which was first held in Vladivostok, was attended by guests from 16 countries. They present five areas of their culture: choreography, music, visual arts, decorative and applied arts and national cuisine.
