
Book publishing and book distribution: Two exhibition booths are presented by Russia at the XIX International Book Fair in Beijing
Two exhibition booths which organizers are the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications (Rospechat) and the government of Moscow are presented by Russia at the ongoing XIX International Book Fair, taken place in Beijing from August 2 to September 29, 2012.
Meetings of readers with famous Russian writers, round tables and book publishing houses are planned on Russian backgrounds. The central place of the exhibition of the stand Rospechat is occupied by works of nominees for "Big Book"-2012.
On the stand of the Moscow government are presented books of classical Russian and Soviet writers, always in demand from the Chinese reader as well as a modern and specialized literature, including the study of the Russian language. As part of the exhibition was a conference "Book Industry of Russia and China in the context of globalization: challenges and perspectives", as well as meetings with the writers.
This year, the Beijing exhibition will host about 2 thousands of Chinese and foreign publishers from 60 countries and regions. This year's guest of honor at the fair has become South Korea; Russia acquired that status at the fair in 2006.
