World history: Pskov is elected as the capital of the III Russian Hanseatic Days in 2013

August 24, 2012 in Belozersk (the Vologda region) took place a general meeting of the Union of Russian Hanseatic cities. It includes Veliky Novgorod, Pskov, Vologda, Tver and Tikhvin. All the participants supported this decision unanimously.

The head of Pskov Ivan Tsetsersky has presented to the participants of the meeting a program of activities of the Hanseatic Days in Pskov, which are scheduled for July 19-21, 2013. July 19, in the Pskov Kremlin will be held a theatrical opening of the III Russian Hanseatic Days. July 21-22, will be fair presentation of hanseatic cities, the festival of historical reconstruction, sports and creative activities. Traditional meetings and workshops as part of the Youth and Media Hansa will be held. There will be held sport events, attended by delegates from the Russian Hanseatic cities. On the bank of the River Great will be houses a broad settlement with the hanseatic trade fair and the participants of the festival's delegations will be in the traditional column of hanseatic movement through the city center to the Pskov Kremlin.
