Information technology and archives: Inventories of the State Archive of the Novosibirsk Oblast to be digitized

“ELAR” Corporation got the right to implement works on transfer the inventories of the State Archive of the Novosibirsk Oblast to the format of electronic databases.

Works are implemented in the framework of the departmental target program "Development of information systems and systems of storage in the archive sector of the Novosibirsk Oblast in 2011-2013", in 2012 in order to improve the organization and access of users to the information on documents archives. In the project “ELAR” will process 9,000 pages of inventories.

The transfer of inventories to the electronic database format will promote the efficient operation with citizens and promoting archives documents as part of information resources of the Novosibirsk Oblast.
