Archives: The XVII International Congress of archives in Australia

August 20, 2012 in Brisbane (Australia) is opening the XVII International Congress of Archives. The participation in the Congress takes a delegation of Russian archivists, which included leaders and representatives of the Federal Archive Agency, federal public archives, VNIIDAD, archival services of subjects of the Russian Federation, private archival companies.

The Congress is intended to consider topical issues on the development of archives in the world. The professional program of the Congress includes two statements of Russian participants: Deputy Head of the Russian Archive O. V. Naumov "Russian archives in the virtual space. Present and Future" and Operational Director of the company "OSG Records Management" A.V. Rykov "Non-state archives of Russia, between past and future".

In the framework of the Congress sessions of the working bodies of the international Council of Archives will take place.
