Internet and society: A video archive with speeches of deputies to appear at the State Duma web site

An archive of video broadcasts will appear at the State Duma web site. It will be created in the framework of the project "E-parliament". In autumn the Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin has to make several improvements on the voting of the Parliament.

Except the video archive, it is planned to organize live broadcasts of committee meetings. Now in the Internet you can see only broadcast of the meetings of the State Duma; the speeches of deputies are published only in a text form.

Besides, on the pages of the deputies will be shown how they voted on a particular bill. Currently it is displayed just how many votes were cast for the law, but surnames of members are not called.

Suggestions on "e-parliament" were assembled in the Internet. A special website “We think together” has been launched.
