Russian regions: Exhibition of works from the Chuvash Republic in Saint-Petersburg

On August 7, 2012 the exhibition center of Saint-Petersburg Union of Artists opened the exhibition of works by artists of the Chuvash Republic "By valor alive in the hearts of the confession".

The exhibition is dedicated to the Year of Russian history, to people - natives of the Chuvashia land (one of them is Peter Kikin - the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, and the initiator and the chairman of the Society for the Encouragement of Artists), who made a huge contribution to the formation of the Russian history.

The exhibition features themed paintings of artists, which are attended by famous masters in the Chuvash Republic, as well as artists who come from Chuvashia, and now living in Saint-Petersburg.
