The State Hermitage Museum presented a universal Hermitage Museum application for iPhone and iPad.

The interiors and collections of the Hermitage are now available not only for iPhone, but for iPad as well!

The Hermitage Museum application was specially universalized for the iPad. This application makes it simpler to view your favourite pieces, locate them on the map and find your way around the museum. Floor plans of the museum, panoramic views of the halls and images of collection items will cover the whole screen of your iPad.

This museum makes it possible to go on fascinating excursions through the halls of one of the largest museums in the world, with a collection of over 3,000,000 items, view the palatial interiors of the grand residence of the Russian Emperors, see world-famous masterpieces of painting, sculpture, applied and decorative art, wonderful examples of antique weaponry, the finest of jewellery and unique archaeological finds.

The application is presented both – in Russian and English languages.
