Internet and society: YouTube launched a web site with reporter video

Video hosting YouTube has launched a special web site The I Files for journalistic video investigations. This was reported in the official blog of YouTube.

As explained in the record, a large number of news video has appeared at YouTube recently, taken by both professional journalists and amateurs alike. Today the total number of videos put on the site is 72 hours of video in different subjects during one minute. The I Files web site was created to select the most interesting video in the steam.

The Center for Investigative Reporting in collaboration with the world’s largest mass media, BBC, ABC News and “Al Jazeera” TV Channels as well as journalistic organizations as Investigative News Network и Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting supervise the web site’s work.
