Memorable dates of Russia: Exhibition “And the eternal memory of 1812…” in Stavropol

In the State Archive of the Stavropol Krai opened a historical-documentary exhibition "And the eternal memory of the 1812 ..." dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812.

The exhibition is first displayed lists of volunteers, reports, letters, reports, statements, and rare prints from the collections of archives, which show the war events, the formation of militia, the heroism and sacrifice of soldiers. The exhibition is of interest not only for the Stavropol region, it characterizes the participation in the war of the inhabitants of Dagestan and North Ossetia, who were the part of the Caucasus province in the beginning of the XIX century.

The exposition was added with original documents presented at the exhibition and rare printed editions about the Patriotic War of 1812.

The exhibition runs until December 1, 2012.
