Memorable dates of Russia: Exhibition “Glorious year 1812” in the Panorama-Museum “Battle of Borodino”

August 1, 2012 at the Panorama-Museum "Battle of Borodino" opens the exhibition of works of the Grekov Studio of Military Artists "Glorious year 1812", timed to the 200th anniversary of Russia's victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. The exhibition presents the best paintings and sculptural works by artists of the Studio of different years.

Battle scenes of the War of 1812, images of fearless Fatherland’s defenders will attract the attention of the audience. Besides historical paintings, the exhibition will be decorated with paintings of Studio artists on the lyrical themes, as well as a series of portraits “Leaders of the Patriotic War of 1812”, made in the technique of lacquer miniature. 

The exhibition runs till October, 2012.
