Russian regions: The Novosibirsk Local Museum opens an exhibition timed to the 75th anniversary of the region

The exhibition "Neighbors", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Novosibirsk region, was opened on September 27, 2012 at the Novosibirsk State Local Museum.

The project "Neighbors" presents rare materials from the family fund of the museum. The basis of the exhibition consists of more than 300 exhibits illustrating a whole series of unusual stories from the lives of ordinary citizens.

In the halls of the museum in the center of Novosibirsk the exhibition will be open for a month and then it will go to the regional center Krasnozerskoye, where it will be one of the components of the regional museum project. It will involve all municipal museums in the region, which will present their collections.

According to the museum, especially for the exhibition new, unusual equipment that allows passing from the front view to the review of 360 degrees, with exposition units – mobile, was developed.

Each exposure module incorporates audio - visitors can listen through headphones excerpts from the memoirs and diaries of heroes of the exhibition.
