Book publishing and book distribution: The XVII Book Salon takes place in Ulan-Ude

The XVII Book Salon is taken place in Ulan-Ude (Buryatia) on September 26-27, 2012.

The first day of the Salon will open the renovated building of the National Library of Buryatia, in the halls of which are deployed nationwide book fair "Best Books of the Republic of Buryatia of 1997-2011". There will be also held literary and educational lectures of the Fund "Pushkin Library" and the lecture of literary critic Nikolai Alexandrov.

In the framework of the Salon will be also featured presentations of books, e-resources fair, literary salons to the 80th anniversary of the local historian Yevgeny Golubev and to the 65th anniversary of the scientist-ethnographer Alexei Tivanenko.
