Memory of Russia: “Ryazan units in the Patriotic War of 1812” conference in Ryazan

Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "Ryazan units in the Patriotic War of 1812" is taking place in the Ryazan Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve on 12-13 September 2012.

The year of the anniversary of the outstanding event of the national history, the conference is designed to bring together all interested persons having information about the participation of the residents of the Ryazan Province in the Patriotic War of 1812.

The purpose of the conference timed to the 200th anniversary of Russia's victory in the Patriotic War of 1812 is to introduce to the scientific world and to the society unknown facts about the events of the War of 1812, showing the patriotic impulse of the population of the central provinces of Russia, and to provide the public with new information about the participants of the Patriotic War of 1812.

Scientific result of the conference will be the publication of the collected works of the attendees of “Ryazan units in the Patriotic War of 1812."
