Society and culture: Project “Masterpieces of the World Museums in the streets of the city” from the collection of the Historical Museum is presented in Moscow

September 2, 2012 the State Historical Museum, Hermitage Garden and the company “Art Transit” presented a joint artistic and educational project "Masterpieces of the World Museums in the Streets of the city", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812 in the works of art from the collections of the State Historical Museum.

The project involves the exposure in the open-air on the fence of the Hermitage Garden of Twenty-four high-quality reproductions of watercolor series by G. Opitz "Russian Cossacks in Paris in 1814", from the collections of the State Historical Museum, made with the latest technology in large format printing.

The project is designed for 2 years.
