Monument to Mikhail Kutuzov was opened on September 1, 2012 in the settlement Krasnopokhorskoye, at the new metropolitan area.

The monument to the legendary commander, General-Field Marshal Mikhail Illarionovich Golenischev-Kutuzov has a height of 6 meters. Its setting in the location is not accidental - autumn 1812 Kutuzov's headquarters were located here, where plans of fighting of Russian troops were developed.

This July, Krasnopokhorskoye settlement became a part of Moscow. Previously, these lands belonged to the Podolsk district of the Moscow region.
