Internet and authority: The Forum for users of interagency electronic interaction system is launched

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia has launched a forum for users of interagency electronic interaction system (IEIS). This internal resource helps federal and regional authorities to exchange relevant information about testing services in the framework of the project.

The intermediate results and the immediate objectives of the project were discussed at the meeting on systems of interdepartmental electronic interaction, which was held on 30 October 2012 at the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the head of the Ministry of Communications of Russia Nikolai Nikiforov. The event was held as a video conference from 83 regions of the Russian Federation.

Currently, the users’ forum IEIS are registered over three thousand participants, processed more than 400 applications. The system successfully tested seven key federal data and up to November 2, it is scheduled to test 30 more which are provided by the Pension Fund of Russia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Federal Tax Service.

In order to provide a guaranteed availability of the system (IEIS) for regional authorities it is planned to introduce a light version of the System performance regulations (SPR), which will serve as the standard interface for an IEIS.
