Russian language abroad: Days of Russian word are held in Armenia

October 15-21, 2012 under the patronage of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargasyan are held the V Days of Russian word in Armenia – 2012 under the motto “By Russian language we are merged with the future”.

According to the press-service of Rossotrudnichestvo in Armenia, Days are held by the Russian Society of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia, Friendship Society "Armenia-Russia", Armenian Association of Teachers of Russian language, Armenian-Russian Charitable Foundation of Russian language, Armenian Association of graduates of Russian universities supported by Rossotrudnichestvo, ministries of culture, education and science, the Union of Writers and Journalists of Russia and Armenia.

The Days of the Russian word is attended by a large Russian delegation of writers, poets, journalists, librarians, publishers, and teachers. Armenia also meets a delegation of the Moscow State Linguistic University.

In the framework of the event are held methodological seminars and workshops for teachers of schools and universities in Armenia. Open classes are also held in schools, and the quiz on the Russian language and literature is organized.
