“Electronic Archive” Corporation has completed works on the creation of the collection of the Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate. The publication is the official organ of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC).
In the framework of the project all the issues of the Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate from 1943 to 1953 were translated to the electronic form, which amounted more than 10 000 pages.
To implement the tasks the specialists of the Corporation used industrial scanner ELAR PlanSkan, which has a special book "cradle" for gentle digitization of rare books.
As the result of the project readers and subscribers of the publishing house the Moscow Patriarchate got free access to the collection in the archive section of the site jmp.ru.
