This week Great Britain will publish diaries of queen Mother Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.

The book “Counting One’s Blessings: The Selected Letters of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother” which includes previously unpublished letters and diaries of the Queen Mother, will go on sale.

Published letters and diaries cover the period of childhood of the Queen Mother until her death at the age of 102 in 2002. They mainly relate to private life of Elizabeth. In particular, documents of the Queen Mother express doubts as to whether or not to marry "Bertie" - the Duke of York, the future King George VI, she goes through after his death in 1952, tells of the love to her daughters - Elizabeth and Margaret.

Selected Letters can be found at The Daily Telegraph. The book of the publishing house Macmillan will go on sale October 11.

Publication of letters and diaries was written by Queen Elizabeth II, and the editor became the writer and announcer William Shawcross. In 2009 he wrote the official biography of the Queen Mother, based on recordings of her personal conversations.
