Information technology and libraries: Free electronic catalog of Yakutia libraries is launching

“Electronic Archive” Corporation will work on the creation of the Union Catalog of libraries of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Using a special manufacturing technology of retrospective conversion, ELAR will index 29,000 cards and load the resulting array in an electronic library catalog. It should be noted that the scanning of cards is performed by employees of the National Library of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) independently.
