Information technology and culture: Collection of “Music publications” of the Russian State Library is available at the web site of public services

“Electronic Archive” Corporation has completed the formation of extended sets of digital collection “Music publications: of the Russian State Library (RSL) by the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

In the framework of the project it is digitized more than one thousand pages of primary sources. Apart the translations to the electronic music publications, readable bibliographic records are formed and the “binding” of bibliographic information to digital copies is performed.

As a result, the sets of music publications of the RSL are placed as PDF-books at the web site of state and municipal services in the section “Library science”. Users of www.gosuslugi.ru web site may get as information on the documents (title, ISBN, the year, the place, the volume), and look through music books.
