Culture and authority: The Government of Russia discusses the state program of development of culture and tourism

November 29, 2012 is taking place the meeting of the Government of Russia, which discusses the project of the state program of the Russian Federation “The development of culture and tourism”.

The state program defines the development of the culture and tourism in the Russian federation till 2020 and it presents a system of events and instruments of public policy, providing as part of realization of key state functions to achieve the priorities and objectives of the state policy in the field of culture and tourism.

The state program includes the following programs: “Heritage”, “Art” and “Tourism”. The structure of the state program integrates federal target programs “Culture of Russia” (2012-2018) and “The development of domestic and foreign tourism in the Russian Federation” (2011-2018).
