Libraries of Russia: All-Russian Scientific Practical Conference “Problems of cultural heritage preservation in libraries” in Saint-Petersburg

November 7-8, 2012 in the V. V. Mayakovski Central City Public Library (St. Petersburg) is held the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of cultural heritage preservation in libraries".

The conference is devoted to the most important activities - the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in libraries. In Conference are offered discussions of the theoretical aspects of the topic by leading library specialists, acquaintance with the best experience of libraries of Russia, as well as acquaintance with the work of public libraries in St. Petersburg in the form of visits to libraries.

Library specialists, library directors of the Russian regions are invited to take part in the conference.
