Memory of Russia: Events in honor of the legendary parade of 1941 in Moscow

November 7, 2012 the solemn march in the Red Square in honor of the legendary parade of 1941 is held.

The solemn march through Red Square will include more than 6000 participants, soldiers of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, servicemen of Russian interior troops of the Interior Ministry, a group of the Presidential Regiment Cavalry fighting carts will recreate the historical part of the parade of November 7, 1941. The march will be attended by Honor Guard Commandant separate regiment. The Banner Group honor guard will carry the Red Square original banner units and take part in the Battle of Moscow. The triumph of historical military vehicles will be completed with defense technology of 1941. The technology will remain in the square for 1 hour after the end of the march as an open air museum. This year's parade includes items on the Year of Russian history and the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino.

The State Academic Bolshoi Theatre (historical scene) will hold a solemn meeting and a concert for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, members of the Battle of Moscow Parade and participants of the Parade of 7 November 1941.
