Culture and authority: Ministry of culture of Russia to enter a system of the remote access to library materials

Next year the Ministry of Culture of Russia will enter the remote access to the digitized materials of federal libraries, said at a press briefing on 25 December 2012 the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky.

“The owner of a library card can simply type his own password and from the home to use a single base of digital materials, which includes material from about 500 libraries. This information can only be read from the screen, it will be impossible to copy it”, - said V. Medinsky.
