The picture is done in 1850. The canvas was commissioned by Nicholas I for the Tsarskoye Selo collection, and later it became a part of the museum fund.
According to the museum press-service, the picture was recorded in the inventory of museum of 1938-1940s. The next mention about it was found in the “Union Catalogue of cultural values, stolen and lost during the World War II”. For a long time the canvas was in search.
