Museums of Russia: The Hermitage is preparing to celebrate the 250th anniversary in 2014

December 14, 2012 the Restoration and Storage Center in the Old Village held the signing ceremony of the acceptance of the second stage of the Restoration and Storage Center and the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and conduction the 250th anniversary of the Hermitage under the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee O. Y. Golodets.

At the meeting of the Organizing Committee was delivered speech of the Deputy Minister of Culture A. E. Busygin on the implementation of the substantive preparations for the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Hermitage. Director of the Hermitage Museum M. B. Piotrovsky also presented the concept of the development of the State Hermitage.
