Center for Cultural initiatives “Candlemas” together with the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow presented the cultural and educational multimedia project “Read poetry to children”.

As part of the project the web site http://antologia.xxc.ru publishes the Anthology of the Russian poetry “Circle of the summer of the Lord. Seasons. Orthodox holidays”

The unique collection covering the poetic texts of the XVII-XX centuries – from Simeon of Polotsk to Joseph Brodsky (94 authors and more than 700 poems) – the first publishing project of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, implemented in 2009.

The Anthology for family reading consists of four volumes ("Autumn", "Winter", "Spring", "Summer"), each of which includes two sections - "Seasons" and "Orthodox holidays". Currently, the web site has published the first volume - "Autumn". In the near future the web site will be constantly updated. Poems from the anthology are read by well known actors.

The web site will be also posted hundreds of pictures of Russian landscape painting, unique icons from the collection of the Museum of Andrei Rublev and thousands of specially restored medieval miniatures of Hludovskaya and Kiev Psalter (IX and XIV centuries).

For explanation of poetry and stories of Orthodox holidays director Irma Komladze created dozens of original animated films, which would also be presented at the web site.
