Society and Mass Media: “Russia Beyond The Headlines” to tell about the best Russian startups

December 10, 2012 the international project of the "Russian newspaper", Russia Beyond The Headlines in conjunction with Digital October and the Center for Technology and Innovation at PricewaterhouseCoopers presented the rating of Russian startups. The Purpose of the Russian Startup Rating is to objectively assess the level and dynamics of the development of young technology companies established in Russia. The role RBTH is to submit ratings and the participating companies in the international information field, to bring together the Russian market of startups with foreign companies and investors.

As part of the project the printed annexes of RBTH and a special section http://rbth.ru/startups at the web site online www.rbth.ru will regularly publish the updated rating of Russian startups, analytical materials, multimedia information about the most of interesting and successful young technology companies in the sphere of information technologies (Internet and mobile services), high-tech (engineering projects, technological device), the of biological sciences (biotechnology and medicine). It is also planned to launch a specialized digital magazine for the Tablet devices.

The Russian Startup Rating is prepared by profile specialists of the Digital October and the Center of technologies and innovations PricewaterhouseCoopers. Based on the experience in the industry, the experts have allocated a set of criteria and indicators, allowing to comprehensively assessing the level of development and investment attractiveness of startups. The rating included 225 Russian companies.
