The exhibition is dedicated to the long end restoration of one of the masterpieces of the Hermitage - Triptych by Hugo van der Goes "Adoration of the Magi". This work is a typical example of the Dutch painting of the XV century - apart of immediacy worldview of the artist, entertaining narrative, detail, bright festive color. The central wing of the triptych presents: right at the top - good news to shepherds and their worship of the Christ Child, in the depths of the left - a meeting of the Magi at Calvary, in the center - Adoration of the Magi.

The restoration reveals a new Dutch painting of the XV century in bright and pure colors, free from the veil of late entries.
