Museums of Russia: Interregional conference dedicated to the role of museums in preserving objects of cultural heritage of the World War II in Moscow

December 5, 2012 the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Hill hosts the Interregional conference “Contemporary museum in preserving objects of cultural heritage in the history of arms and military equipment of the World War II and their use in the patriotic education of citizens”.

The conference considers search, restoration, exposition concerns as well as issues of interaction and coordination of different state and public agencies and organizations as well as patriotic-oriented business structures.

The conference is attended by representatives of agencies and organizations, related to the search, restoration of arms and military equipment, state and public (including school) museums, leaders and participants of the search movement.

The conference provides the screening of the film “Battle of Moscow”, plenary session as well as work in sections, summarizing and the adoption of a resolution of the conference.
