Society and Mass Media: International Conference “The role of media in the development of integration processes in the Eurasian Union” in the Moscow region

December 4-5, 2012 in the Moscow region with the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications is taking place the International Conference “The role of media in the development of integration processes in the territory of the Eurasian Union”.

Representatives of media, sector agencies, and international relations experts discuss the strategies of interaction on information support of the formation of the Eurasian Union EAC, purposes and objectives of media in the integration process and ways of their implementation.

The conference holds plenary sessions and round tables on the following issues:

• Problems and challenges of the media as part of the integration of the EAC member states;

• A single information field on the eve of EAC: participants, concept, methodology;

• Reflection of benefits of EAC both in the national and international interests;

• A look at the EAC by the international community: the role of media in the leveling of negative influences.
