Society and reading: List of 100 books for home reading approved

The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia has sent to the regions a finally approved list of 100 books recommended for home reading for Russian students.

At the web site of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation is said that the list of “100 books” can serve as basis of additional educational programs. In addition, the importance of ensuring the availability of all works of the list of readers, including the use of educational resources in the Internet is marked. The Ministry of Education is planning to form a positive image of the project “100 books” among young people.
