Society and culture: Unknown works by Solzhenitsyn are published

On the pages of the annual almanac “Solzhenitsyn notebooks” can be read unpublished previously works of the writer, the Nobel Prize Laureate for literature. This was reported by his widow Natalia Solzhenitsyna. She was speaking at the National High School of Fine Arts in Paris as part of the cycle of meetings with famous Russian writers and artists, and she presented the first issue of the collection, consisting of five parts.

“The first section is unpublished texts by Solzhenitsyn, which are still very much”, - she said. The second consists of the most interesting reports presented at the seminars in which the writer studied. "There is a section devoted to the annual literary prize by Solzhenitsyn, and a story about what has grown at "Solzhenitsyn field" for the year", - said Natalia Solzhenitsyn. The last part of the anthology is the so-called discoveries. This is, for example, a correspondence with the famous literary critic Yuri Lotman and the author Lydia Chukovskaya. These letters will be published for the first time, clarified the widow of the writer.

According to her, the work on the collected works by Solzhenitsyn continues, which, by his plan, should consist of 30 volumes. Nowadays, 16 volumes are published, and two are nearly ready for the press. Soon it will be published a diary, which appearance look forward admirers of the Russian author.

Till the 100th anniversary of the prominent author is a little over five years, but already now the plan of events, timed to this significant date, is being discussed.
