Society and culture: The exhibition “Christian images in the masterpieces of the old masters” opened in Moscow

To trace the history of the Christian art in the works of the old masters of the Renaissance is possible due to the exhibition opened at the Center of Fine Arts in Volkhonka. Art works of the European painting of the XV-XVII centuries show the variations of the interpretation of canonical forms in the Western European art.

The works by Italians Mattia Pretti and Pascuale Chiesa, Peter Hayes, the most accurate imitator of Hieronymus Bosch are presented.
