Memory of Russia: Events, dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Staraya Russa from the Nazis

February 18, 2013 in Staraya Russa (the Novgorod region) are held events dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the liberation of the town from the Nazis.

February 18 – is the Open Day at the Museum of the North-Western front.  Here is presented the unique exposition, telling about fights on the Staraya Russa land, about the occupation, the underground and the guerrilla movement, the difficult path to the Victory. There will be held the opening of the exhibition “They Fought for Their Country” (one of the last arrivals).
