Russian regions: Exhibition, dedicated to the 365th anniversary of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk

February 15, 2013 at the Museum “Education of the Simbirsk province in 70-80s of the XIX century” opened the exhibition “I love you, my fine city!” dedicated to the 365th anniversary of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk.

Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk has always represented one of the most beautiful cities of the Volga region. The basis of the originality was an excellent choice of location, beautiful landscape, and creativity of an entire galaxy of talented architects in all phases enriched its remarkable architectural monuments.

It is no accident that the exhibition opens at the Museum “Education of the Simbirsk province in 70-80s of the XIX century” because its exposition is dedicated to the history of the formation and development of public education of the Simbirsk province and initial activity of the director of public schools I. N. Ulyanov, who has made a significant contribution to the creation of public school.

At the heart of the exhibition “I love you, my fine city!” are creative works of pupils, students, teachers of the College №4 and the I. N. Ulyanova Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University: fairy tales, poems, legends and writings.

The exhibition will run till June 9, 2013.
