Internet resources: “Yandex” has come to the fourth place in the number of search queries
The Russian search engine “Yandex” has come to the fourth place in the world in the number of processed requests, overtaking the search engine from Microsoft and being only the second to the search engines of Google, Baidu and Yahoo, GigaOm reports the publication with informed plea from research firm ComScore.
According to statistics, the Russian search engine is ahead of its rival Microsoft (service Bing, search at the site microsoft.com and others) in November, and in December strengthened its leadership. According to ComScore, in December the number of requests in the “Yandex” totaled 4. 84 billion (2.8% of the world market), while Microsoft - 4, 48 billion (2, 5% of the world market).
At the same time, as noted by GigaOm, “Yandex” is still behind the search service from Microsoft in terms of users - 74.4 million compared to 268.6 million.
The world's largest search engine is Google - in December its users have 114.73 billion of queries (65.2%). In second place is the Chinese search engine Baidu - 14, 4 billion of searches (8.2%), and the third place is Yahoo with 8.63 billion of queries in December (4.9%).
“Yandex” is the leading search engine in Russia, ranking, according to the service Liveinternet, about 60% of the market. In second place is Google with a market share of about 26%.
