Russian culture abroad: Books on culture of the Russian emigration granted to the University of Latvia

Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad granted to the library of humanities of the University of Latvia about three hundred books, published in Russia.  The exhibition of new acquisitions opened in the library on March 18, 2013.

The holdings of the library have been enriched with publications on history of Russia, ethnography, folklore, linguistics, history of culture, art, history of the Russian Orthodox Church and theology. Several books are dedicated to the Russian Diaspora and they give an idea of the life and culture of the Russian emigration in different countries of the world.
