The Presidential Library: New acquisitions

As part of the beginning cooperation with the State Archive of the Krasnoyarsk Krai the Presidential Library holdings have been enriched with digital copies of archival documents.

The State Archive of the Krasnoyarsk Krai (now the KSKU “The State Archive of the Krasnoyarsk Krai”) was established in July 1941. Currently the KSKU “SAKK” is the largest repository of documents on the history of the Krasnoyarsk krai since the beginning of the XVII century to the present. The archive also contains documents: public authorities, prosecutors, courts, government agencies, organizations and enterprises, local governments, religious institutions, non-governmental institutions, organizations and enterprises, media, personal origin of individual collections. On January 1, 2013 in KSKU “SAKK” in storage there are 6021 funds; 14 741137 units.

In the first stage, for the collection Territory of Russia, it is planned to publish 349 cases from the Fund 595 “The Yenisei provincial administration”.

The Yenisei province government, formed in January 1823, was the chief administrative and police governorship. The Board deals with all matters of economic, political and financial activities, including the construction of the Mid-Siberian railway, construction of bridges, office buildings, schools, prisons, census, etc

The economic activity of the Board in the field of construction in the period from 1869 to 1891 is reflected in the documents of the issue 60:
