History of a book: Scientific conference “Bibliophilia and personal collections” in Moscow

March 22, 2013 at the Russian State Library is held the Second International conference “Bibliophilia and personal collections”, moderated by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.

Participants of the meeting will have opportunity to learn about the results of studies of book research by speakers from Russia, Belarus, and Latvia. Among the topics of reports are works to identify personal collections, analysis of collections of manuscripts and books, stories about fates of bibliophiles and societies of friends and others.

As part of the conference will be also open the book-illustrative exhibition “Books from the collections of Russian bibliophiles in the holdings of the Russian State Library”.
