Libraries of Russia: Seminar “Typology of electronic documents as the basis of a library record” in Moscow

March 21, 2013 in the Russian State Library in Moscow is held the interdisciplinary scientific-practical seminar “Typology of electronic documents as the basis of a library record”.

As part of the seminar it is supposed to consider theoretical and methodological issues, relating to:

- Approach to the typology of electronic documents;

- Determination of main characteristics of electronic documents as the basis of their selection to library collections;

- Registration of electronic documents;

- Different levels of library policy and departmental affiliation in the field of development of electronic documents collections.
