Memorable dates: The 1025th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus and the anniversary of Hryhorii Skorovoda are celebrated

March 21-22, two historical dates – the 1025^th anniversary of Kievan Rus and the 290^th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Ukrainian philosopher, poet and educator Hryhorii Skorovoda are celebrated in Kiev. A series of events is timed to these important events.

March 22, in the Kiev representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo will be held the International conference “The civilization choice and religious-philosophical traditions”, timed to the celebration in 2013 of the 1025^th anniversary of the Christianization of Rus.

Also in Kiev there will be held the Polish evening, which is organized by the Embassy of Russia in Ukraine. During the evening it will be held the presentation of the two-volume edition of the complete collection of works of Hryhorii Skorovoda.

The celebration in honor of the famous Ukrainian philosopher will end already in Moscow.  Here, at the hotel “Ukraine”, on March 29 will be held the Russian presentation of the complete collection of works of Hryhorii Skorovoda.
