Russian language: The Vologda region to become the “territory of literacy”

The social project “Vologda – territory of literacy” starts working on the territory of the region. It is designed to change public attitude to the language.

As part of the project it is planned a great number of activities. Thus, there will take place public campaign “Speak Russian”.

Among other events, included to the project, - are monitoring of local media language, study of state and public employees on the program “Business letter and business communication”, the competition on Russian language not only for students and teachers, but also for different professional corporations. The list of events is already developed, it is necessary to plan their implementation.

Since 2004 in Vologda there is a program “Russian language”, including a complex of educational and training activities.
