Libraries of Russia: Book festival “Open World of Libraries” in Penza

March 16, 2013 in the M. Y. Lermontov Penza Regional Library is held the next stage of the VIII Book festival “Open World of Libraries”, dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the city of Penza.

The festival opens with regional competition to promote a local history book “The Penza region in Russian history”. There will also be held the youth festival “Penza NEXT. Read!” as part of which will be held an interactive game “The language of the city”.

The guests and participants of the festival will see the film “Two centuries of Penza local lore history”, it will work a great exhibition show “In Penza history involved”, compiled from the works of the Penza regional specialists of the XIX-XXI centuries, stored in the M. Y. Lermontov Regional Library.
