Memory of Russia: Exhibition “Rzhev. A returned memory” in Moscow

The exhibition “Rzhev. A returned memory”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Rzhev and the liberation of the area from the Nazis opened in the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow) with the participation of the Tver State Museum. The materials of the exhibition reflect the events related to the offensive operations of the Red Army in the Rzhev-Vyazma projection (the battle of Rzhev), focused on showing the battles in the Kalinin region.

The substantive basis of the exhibition are the materials from the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War, the Tver State Museum and its branches - local history museums in the city of Rzhev, Beliy, Toropets, the Rzhev center of patriotic education: documents, photographs, models, dummies, pictures, posters, weapons, equipment and uniforms of armies of opposing parties, personal belongings and memories of combatants.
