Memory of Russia: Exhibition “Be true to heroism traditions” in Moscow

March 14, 2013 in the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow) opened the art thematic exhibition “Be true to heroism traditions”.

The exhibition features uniforms and samples of weapons of soldiers of the Russian army of the XIII-XX centuries: uniform of archers of Ivan the Terrible, guardsmen of Peter I, heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812, uniforms and saber of lieutenant-general A. I. Denikin, uniforms of soldiers and generals of the Great Patriotic War, as well as pictures and documents, depicting heroic moments of the glorious history o the Russian army.

In the creation of the exhibition took part the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War, the State Historical Museum, the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library and the M. B. Grekov Studio of Military Artists.
